Plenty of homes around Pinellas County have a well-insulated attic sitting on top of walls with nothing in them at all. Concrete block homes built before the 1980s frequently have hollow cores or empty furring strips, and older frame homes often have bare stud bays. Those walls are the reason a room can still feel hot at 4pm with the AC running hard.
Retrofit dense-pack solves it from the outside. We drill a small port per cavity, fill the bay to the correct density with blown material, then plug and finish the hole. No drywall demolition, no repainting the interior, and the work is usually done in a single day.

What is included
Cavity survey and thermal check
We verify what is actually in the walls before quoting, using inspection ports and a thermal scan rather than guessing from the build year.
Small-port drilling
Ports are placed per cavity on the exterior, sized to the smallest opening that still allows a proper dense-pack fill.
Dense-pack fill at correct density
Material is packed to the density that prevents future settling. An underfilled wall sags within a couple of years and leaves a cold gap at the top.
Plug, patch, and finish
Ports are plugged and finished to match stucco, siding, or block. We photograph before and after on every elevation.

Will I be able to see the patches?
On stucco and painted block the plugs are finished flush and, once you repaint that elevation, they disappear. On siding we usually work behind a removed course so there is nothing visible at all.
Does wall insulation help as much as attic insulation?
Attic work delivers more savings per dollar and should always come first. Walls are the next step once the attic is at R-38, and they do more for room-to-room comfort and noise than the attic does.
Can you insulate the walls of a concrete block house?
Yes, if the cores are open and unobstructed. Many Pinellas block homes have furring strips with an empty gap behind the drywall, which fills well. We confirm with inspection ports before quoting.
